Have you ever tried Cookies made with Tahini!?!?? These Chocolate Tahini Cookies are mind blowing! They are so buttery and VEGAN, and the sweet and salty flavour is just deliciousness in a square.
Tahini is mainly used for hummus, of course. But you should try it as replacement for peanut butter any time you can. This buttery sesame paste has a really particular taste, which matches perfectly with dark chocolate, believe me!
On a plus side, as these cookies are slightly salty, they could be perfect as appetizer, together with a milky stout. We choose Brewdog (of course) Layer Cake. And you should too! It’s like breakfast at 19 p.m.
However, don’t worry: they are gorgeous with coffee as well. I think they lasted just a couple of days in our cookie jar. It’s unfortunate they don’t really work as Alice in Wonderland eat-me cookies, but I’m working on that!
