I know, Oreo cookies are vegan already. However, do you know exactly which ingredients they contain? Can you imagine how much better they are if you make them yourself? Easy and quick answer: 20 times more delicious, plus, you could use buckwheat and rice flour and make them gluten free!
Believe me, these are just as good as the original and you can decide how much filling to put in. It took me quite a while before getting the right texture and flavour, to be honest. The first batch I made was just too coconutty and pale. The second batch was too dry and I think I messed up with the filling as it resulted being too liquid. The third came out just perfect.
Do not worry, we ate the first two batches too, we don’t like wasting food. But I like trying out and getting the perfect recipe. No matter how many ties I try. Well. You can imagine now, how good and flawless these cookies are. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
“I don’t believe in right or left; I don’t believe in Santa or Satan. I believe in things I can touch – like vodka and Oreos.”
